Henry “Hank” Pugh (1943-2025) Norfolk Va.

A vintage painting of a fisherman’s skiff floating in the bay. Unsigned but purchased from the estate of Hank Pugh, a local Norfolk Artist and attributed thereto.

Hank Pugh, of studio 142, had training in art at Old Dominion University and at Gallaudet University. His preferred mediums were watercolor, acrylic, and charcoal. While many of his paintings and drawings were landscapes he also did wildlife and portraits. Hank has been an artist here at the d’ART Center for over twenty years.
