Danny's iconic surf designs pay homage to the culture and life of his home town Virginia Beach.  His iconic designs, once unique to Virginia Beach Surf shops are now featured on a global market. Danny returns home with a sophisticated new look, one that he's been honing over the last 4 years.  Gone are the nose pickers (but don't worry we will have some classic art in the back room), replaced with a unique take blending abstract and surf culture. Love Letters to a Beach Town is a new and refreshing body of work from Danny, with each piece dedicated to the tribe and collective of people that have helped shape Danny's career.

If you grew up in Virginia Beach in the 1980s, you may recognize Danny O’s work. Surfers, skate rats and local teens wore classic designs by Daniel O’Connor, known as Danny O. They just didn’t know it. He created a series of iconic cartoon characters that decorated the T-shirts for the 17th Street Surf shop. Featured characters donned sunglasses, rat tails, Vans and the infamous nose picker.
