1960s Boomerang Sofa by Adrian Pearsall in Icelandic Sheep Wool

1960s Boomerang Sofa by Adrian Pearsall in Icelandic Sheep Wool
Uncommon one piece sofa designed by Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates in the 1960s. This sofa came from the original owners outside of Asbury Park in New Jersey. Fully restored with new strapping, foam and icelandic sheep fur in a taupe colorway. The walnut trim, wraps the front and sides of the sofa and is supported by 7 solid walnut tapered legs. An iron subframe connects all the pieces.
This is a one piece sofa at over 10’ wide and over 6’ deep this will take some maneuvering to get in to your space. But once in it will be the center of your design. This piece would work well with designs by Milo Baughman, George Nakashima, and Edward Wormley.
Unsigned. But has the characteristic iron frame and makings of Adrian Pearsall and Craft Associates.
