Iconic LC4 lounge chair designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand.

Wonderful chaise longue, model LC4 with a medium brown and headrest on a tubular steel frame with a black lacquered finish and a black lacquered steel base. Each piece is signed, numbered and manufactured by Cassina under exclusive worldwide license from the Le Corbusier Foundation. Impressed mark 'LC4 27333' to black frame and 'Cassina' mark to steel base. Made in Italy.

The chaise Longue was born from the inspiration of the three architects who wanted to design a comfortable home furniture, where every person could rest, even without sleeping, relaxing the head, shoulders, back and legs. Initially designed in 1928, the chaise longue was only serially produced from the 1960s, and would become a design icon over the years.

Condition: Leather pad with thin fill and some scuffs. wear to the leather straps. Some of the support cords stretched. Presents and sits well.
