An early piece from Paul Mccobb for Winchedon Modern. The cabinet features 6 drawers on a rare form iron base. These pieces rarely surface on the iron base and are highly coveted among collectors for their scarcity and their sculptural floating appeal. This piece would work well with other American mid century designers including George Nakashima, Edward Wormley, Harvey Probber, etc.
Condition: Original finish shows some hazing. Showing wear and rub throughs on corners and high spots. Two ring marks to the top surface showing the raw birch underneath. Great overall patina.
