1960s Paul Evans for Directional Slate and Patchwork Game Center or Dining Table
A 1960s mixed metal table with thick inset chiseled slate top. Signature Paul Evans style. . The bottom of the slate hand signed by Paul Evans. Patch worked mixed metals form the parson style legs and apron. only a few examples of this form have been seen. Use as a center table in a foyer or entryway, as a game table, eat in kitchen dinette or NYC apartment dining. Would work well with pieces by Phillip Lloyd Powell and George Nakashima.
Condition: Good vintage condition. Light scratches to the legs, commensurate with age and use.
