1960s Danish Extendable Rosewood Dining Table by John Mortensen for Heltborg Møbler
Expressive rosewood veneer top on this Extendable dining table designed by John Mortenson for Heltborg Møbler. Solid rosewood base forms a pedestal when together and when extended with one or two leaves the pedestal pulls apart with a unique T shaped base reminiscent of Thomas Moser or George Nakashima. The top consisting of solid rosewood edge banding and beautiful book matched flamed rosewood veneer.

Condition: This table was rarely used and always had a dust cover on it. Single family Owned imported from Denmark. Very Good all original Condition, with one pea shaped ding glued back on the outer circumferential band.
