1970 Knoll Womb Chair Green Wool
A vintage womb chair and ottoman designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll. Reupholstered in a thick nubby textured wool blend. This fabric was deadstock from Vladimir Kagan’s estate and is a very high end wool. Chair and ottoman were qstipped to the fiberglass and plywood frames and new foam applied by a former knoll employee who uses the Knoll correct foam and adhesives. Not a nicer womb chair on the market.
Shell is date stamped May 1970. Retains early Knoll Associates Tags and Labels.

Chair: 36” H x 40.5” W x 35” D 18” Seat Height
Ottoman: 18” H x 25” W x 21” D
Condition: Like new, new foam and upholstery, ready to go another 20-30 years. some light patina to the chrome plated frames.
