1963 Eero Saarinen for Knoll Womb Chair and Ottoman in Brown Leather mid century modern
A vintage womb chair and ottoman designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll. Reupholstered in a rich chocolate brown waxy leather. Black painted iron frame. Hand stitched leather. The leather with a subtle distressed finish. Chair and ottoman were stripped to the fiberglass and plywood frames and new foam applied by a former knoll employee who uses the Knoll correct foam and adhesives.
Shell is date stamped April 1963. Retains early Knoll Associates Tags and Labels.

Chair: 36” H x 40.5” W x 35” D 18” Seat Height
Ottoman: 18” H x 25” W x 21” D
Condition: Like new, new foam and upholstery, ready to go another 20-30 years. Some light scratches to the black painted frame.
