Monumental Paul Evans Gunmetal Cityscape Dining Table Mid century modern

Monumental Paul Evans Gunmetal Cityscape Dining Table Mid century modern

$14,500.00

A 1960s monumental “cityscape” dining table designed by Paul Evans for Directional. Featuring interlocking, undulating geometric pedestals in random heights and widths, accented with alternating rectangular patches of brushed steel and gunmetal. This table looks very much like a a new york city skyline. The original thick glass shows very well and looks to have been rarely used. As sculptural as it is functional.

This table would compliment pieces made by Gio Ponti, Edward Wormley, Vladimir Kagan, Robsjohn Gibbings, Harvey Probber and others. Quintessential mid century modern.

Signed.
