Vintage 1950’s Harvey Probber Mahogany and Brass Knights bench, model 1173. An uncommon design featuring curved slats sitting over curved legs all held together with brass bars. This bench would work well as a sculptural seating element in a room, at a vanity, in a foyer, or extra seating in a living room. Similar form to the Sori Yanagi Butterfly stool with a refined elegant styling expected form the greats liek Harvey Probber, Edward Wormley, Vladimir Kagan, and T.H. Robsjohn Gibbings.
